Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 31, 2026. VM Improvements wants this website and our client portal to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.

1. Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is the standard we measure ourselves against as we build and update the site. We are not claiming certification, and we are not claiming full conformance.

2. What we have done

  • Semantic HTML — headings in order, real lists, landmarks, and one main region per page.
  • Controls that can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images, and empty alternatives for purely decorative ones.
  • Labels on form fields, and accessible names on icon-only buttons.
  • Color and type chosen for contrast, with color never used as the only way to convey meaning.
  • Animation that respects your system “reduce motion” setting — if you have it on, the site's transitions and photo effects are reduced or removed.
  • Layouts that reflow on small screens and remain usable when text is enlarged.

3. Where we may fall short

Parts of this site are photograph-heavy, and the client portal contains interactive elements such as the before-and-after slider and the project photo sequence. Some of that content, and some third-party components such as embedded maps, may not yet meet our target in every respect. We review and improve the site continuously, and we treat accessibility problems as defects to be fixed rather than requests to be considered.

4. Report a barrier, or ask for another format

If something on this site or in the portal is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Describe the page and what happened, and we will work with you to fix it or to get you the information another way — by phone, by email, in large print, or read aloud to you.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 business days, and to tell you what we intend to do about the issue and when. If a fix will take longer, we will give you the information you need in the meantime in a format that works for you.
