Photo & Media Consent

1. What is being asked
VM Improvements LLC would like your permission to photograph and, occasionally, video the work we do at your property, and to use a selection of those images in our marketing.
Photographs may include the work area before, during, and after the remodel — typically the kitchen and adjoining spaces — and, where relevant to showing the work, other interior areas and the exterior of the home.
2. Photos we take either way
Separately from marketing, our crew photographs the job as a record of progress and workmanship. Those photos are shown to you in your private portal and to the staff and crew assigned to your project. They are not published anywhere. That documentation happens on every job and is not what this consent is about.
3. How the images may be used
- Our website and project galleries.
- Social media accounts operated by VM Improvements.
- Print materials — brochures, ads, and showroom displays.
- Our portfolio, including presentations shown to prospective clients.
- Trade or press features about our work.
You are not paid for this use, and you are not charged for it. We keep ownership of the photographs we take; this page is your permission for us to use them as described.
4. What we never publish
We do not publish your name, street address, or contact details alongside published images. We do not tag your home's location. We ask our crew to keep personal items, documents, mail, and people out of frame wherever possible — if something personal appears in a shot you would rather we not use, tell us and we will drop that image.
5. Consent is voluntary
Giving this consent is entirely your choice, and it is not a condition of the work. If you say no, the project proceeds exactly the same way, at the same price, on the same schedule.
6. Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time, for any reason — call (203) 914-4858 or email vmimprovementsllc2@gmail.com. There is no deadline and you do not need to give a reason.
When you withdraw, we stop using your images going forward and remove them from the channels we control, such as our website and our own social media accounts. Materials that have already been printed, and posts that others have already shared, saved, or re-published, cannot always be recalled.
7. Recording your decision
Your decision is recorded in our client record, along with the date it was given. You can ask us at any time what is on file for you. How we handle your information generally is described in our Privacy Policy.
